Mr & Mrs O'Connell, had a kitchen with two corners of 70 & 110 degrees and wondered if the worktops could be changed, whilst retaining the wall tiles above?
They also felt that the kitchen was very brown and somewhat dated. It needed cheering up! There was also a need for some more storage and solution to the area to the left of the back door. It was also part of the brief to retain some of the pine wood features, to tie in with the table and chairs. Quite a lot to accomplish then.......
To set the kitchen off against the retained wall tiles and pine table, a contrasting worksurface was chosen, with a classic cream door and drawers. This brightened the room and gave the kitchen a more considered and designed look. The difficult angles and retained wall tiles were overcome by some skilled and painstaking work by the installation team.
Now, moving on to the area to the left of the back door. This was quite tricky - as the depth of the space was only a fraction over a foot deep. Not deterred Richard, designed a bespoke dresser to tie in with the kitchen and give the most storage possible in the confined space. The shelf spacing was made to suit the dimensions of the different books and the cupboard space below has mock drawers to make it look like a classic dresser and tie in with the kitchen as a whole.
"Dear Richard & Jacob, Thank you very much for your advice and patience in sorting out my Kitchen once again. Also, thank you very much to Darren for doing a great installation job. Kindest Regards."

“We had various trades, plumber, plasterer, decorator, carpenter, electrician to undertake a wide variety of tasks. All was very efficiently co-ordinated by Richard - keeping us informed of progress and making sensible suggestions as the work progressed. Time scales, schedules and budgets were kept to and the standard of all the tradesmen was first class. We always felt that he had a close control over the project as a whole. We would, without doubt, recommend K4 Group with confidence that what is promised by them will be delivered.”

“Better than I had even hoped for. Meticulous attention to detail in finishes. Time given to initial choices, measurements taken and discussed, plus actual doors brought to the house for inspection. Quote given on the spot, but left with me for consideration. Everywhere swept and clean at the end of the work. Richard Hopkins a pleasure to meet, and his work an on-going pleasure in my home.”
